This short sequence crosses Saga Prefecture from Takeo to Saga City and Arita. Railway lines, a quiet riverside lane and ceramic details give each stop a different pace.
01 / Takeo
Railway lines and books
The first photographs face the tracks. Rails run through the frame in parallel while the white body of a train cuts across them.
Takeo returns later through a room lined with books. Public transport and a reading table give the city two quiet forms of shared space.
02 / Saga City
One lane beside the river
Saga City is represented by a single narrow lane near the river. Walls, poles and an empty strip of road lead the eye through the portrait frame.
It is a modest interruption between two larger groups of photographs, kept because an ordinary street can locate a journey as clearly as a landmark.
03 / Arita
Ceramic town
Arita is the largest group in the sequence. A ceramic torii, tiled details, dense green lanes and an old room appear within a few streets of one another.
The photographs move between fired surfaces and living foliage. Warm indoor light closes the group, while a still reflection provides its final frame.
